The sponge gives a medium coverage but I find it is difficult to layer foundation with it. I prefer the kabuki brush as I feel it gives a fuller coverage, it uses less product and you do not have to go to the bathroom to wet it before you can use it. After I use it with powder I like to go in and dust off any excess powder as it can cake on the powder if you are heavy handed.īefore I got this sponge I used a kabuki brush to apply my foundation. If I use it to set my makeup with translucent powder I just use it wet and it does a fantastic job at setting foundation. I tried the other sides but I feel I get the best results with the flat edge. The sponge blends perfectly around the nooks and crannies of my face. I personally only use the flat edge of the sponge to blend all over my face. The long rounded side it meant to blend over large areas of your face such as your cheeks and forehead. The pointy side is meant to spot conceal pimples. The flat side is designed to blend around the eyes and nose. Each side of the sponge is supposed to have a specific use. The Miracle Complexion Sponge has a unique shape. This sale comes and goes on the site so you got to keep an eye out for it. I couldn’t pass this up since it normally costs R130 each at Clicks stores. I got a four pack of these sponges on a huge discount from (if you are not a South African, is a popular online store) for R199 for four sponges. When Real Techniques came out with their Miracle Complexion sponge, thousands of YouTubers converted to the sponge as they said it is the same quality for a fraction of the price. ![]() It is just so ridiculously priced for something you are supposed to get rid of every two to three months. I can’t seem to bring myself to spend R400 on a DISPOSABLE makeup sponge. ![]() This sponge is supposed to be a dupe for the famous Beauty Blender that tons of beauty gurus swear by. This makeup sponge is supposed to be a miracle, life changing sponge.
